WHY I HAVE AN INTENSE HATRED OF HSBC BANK.

WHY I HAVE AN INTENSE HATRED OF HSBC BANK.

Hello world – just thought I’d share with you why I hate HSBC. Enjoy my rant – this is an email I sent to them this morning -

=========================================
Michelle or Sharon, just wanted you to know, I hate your bank.

See below. Why did HSBC send this too me 3 weeks after I made the offline request?

I log in today, and I am still told there were too many unsuccessful attempts. I am still locked out of my online savings account.

I am, again, on hold trying to speak to a rep. 45 mins listening to music and a voice telling me how important I am.

Your bank is horrible. I cannot access my funds, I cannot find out where I get an interest statement from, online or mailed to me.

I want to close my online savings account, I want my money. Working with HSBC is a nightmare.

For 6 weeks since I’ve been locked out, I call twice a week, once during the week, in the evening and every Saturday morning, and each time, after being on hold for 30-45 mins, I hang up.

This is horrible.
You’re bank is horrible. No personal relationship at all. Greedy and unresponsive to the millions of your customers who are the little people, the 99%. I am sure HSBC treats their wealthy customers very well.

I am a very, very unhappy customer. As I was writing this, after 32 mins of listening to crappy music and being told how important I am, a rep from the Philippines came on the line. I explained my problem, and now they have transferred me to an online specialist to help me, which is really the kiss of death, which means being on hold, again, listening to electronic music from someone’s discarded elevator from the 80’s and being on hold for probably 45 mins plus.

This is horrible. Have to put this on by blog, on linkedin, on twitter, facebook. If you have an hsbc account, abandon it asap. For you will surely rot in hell…

Now, every 30 seconds, being told how valuable a customer I am, how sorry they are that there representatives are busy with other customers….boy, If I had $1 million + with hsbc, I would have spoken to someone already and had my issue resolved. Again, they are so sorry, but I am a valued customer……………I hate hsbc, I hate hsbc, I hate hsbc………………..

Now, 42 mins after being transferred to an “online specialist”, I hang up in utter disgust.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME IN ‘REAL TIME’??????????????????????????????????

Regards,
Nelson Davis

    Hi Nelson – love the rant! I too hate HSBC, they are far too economical with the truth. Their interpretation of words like FREE and MARKET RATE are completely at odds with the generally accepted definitions!

    I run a tiny research consultancy specialising in online methodologies, based in London, UK which I set up over 10 years ago. I have a study coming up for Japan and wondered if you have capability there? The spec is:

    Specialty: Anesthesiologists (senior, 5+ years post qualification)
    N=100
    Incidence expected to be 70%

    If you have capability there, I’d be interested in a quote for fieldwork only. The survey will be ready to launch in approx 6 weeks.

    I look forward to hearing from you.

    All the best

    Ram
